How to lay a solid foundation for school education and how this can still have an effect in professional life is the content of the Marburger Schriften zur Lehrerbildung. The series, edited by Prof. Dr Lothar A. Beck and Dr Ulrich Vogel on behalf of the Centre for Teacher Education at Philipps-Universität Marburg, aims to strengthen the interdisciplinary dialogue in academia and to link academic theory and school teaching practice. This focus in higher education paedagogy is also expressed in practice-oriented and continuously revised works on modern and media-appropriate teaching, such as the “Handbuch Hochschullehre Digital” by Prof. Dr Jürgen Handke.
Tectum also focuses on art and theatre paedagogy in its paedagogy programme. Our series KONTEXT Kunst – Vermittlung – Kulturelle Bildung, edited by Prof. Dr Jutta Ströter-Bender, highlights current trends in art and cultural education in the fields of art, culture, cultural heritage and cultural diversity with concrete suggestions for theoretical and practical art education.
