Anamnesis
Edited by Prof. Dr. Christoph Asmuth and PD Dr. Christoph Binkelmann
The series presents outstanding theses in the field of philosophy. The focus is on research-oriented theses devoted to topics from classical philosophy, especially from antiquity, the Middle Ages, modern times and classical German philosophy, as well as topics from continental philosophy up to the present. This includes works from the field of phenomenology as well as topics from philosophical anthropology, political philosophy and ethics. The works show an intensive linking of historical and systematic approaches. In this respect, the title of the series is programmatic: it is about remembering or re-membering classical philosophical concepts through an active and systematically oriented philosophising. The aim is, on the one hand, to make important research contributions accessible to an interested public, and on the other hand, to document the performance of philosophical courses.
